I am a British, South Asian author, artist, and poet whose work explores themes of identity, culture, resilience, healing, and personal freedom.
Writing began as a deeply personal outlet—a way to make sense of experiences that were often difficult to express aloud. Over time it became something much greater: a means of giving a voice to those who feel unheard and a reminder that no one should ever feel trapped by circumstance.
My debut novel – ‘Written’, explores difficult subjects including cultural expectations, domestic abuse, arranged marriage, family loyalty, and the courage required to choose your own path. Although fictional, the novel is inspired by experiences and emotions that many readers have found deeply relatable.
Alongside writing fiction, I enjoy creating poetry and artwork, each offering a different way to explore emotion and human connection.
Through fiction, poetry, and art, I hope to encourage conversations that empower people to believe that their past does not define their future. Whether you’ve discovered my novel Written, are interested in my artwork, or simply wish to learn more about my journey, I’m delighted you’re here.
